About The Event

Join us for coffee and a treat, provided by our sponsor Bob Evans Restaurant and Imagine One 85. Born and raised in Wabash, Kyle Coble developed a lifelong fascination with trains, perhaps influenced by living near the railroad tracks as a child. However, his true passion lies in late 19th and early 20th-century railroading—the era of steam engines, wooden freight cars, and cabooses. This interest led him to model railroading and, eventually, to researching the Big Four railroad shops in Wabash. What began as a small project to inform a layout has grown into nearly thirty years of uncovering the history of a once-thriving rail industry in his hometown. “The Thursday Parlay” will take place from 10 to 11:30 am on Thursday, May 1st. This is a free event brought to you by the Wabash County Museum.
